Synopsis
A thirteen year old boy lives with his mother, father and a two year old sister. His father is a passionate hunter and works at a local hunting club. While playing with his father’s rifle the boy accidentally fires and severely injures his baby sister…
Director’s Biography:
Alen Drljević was born in Sarajevo. In 1999. he enrolled at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, the department of directing. During his studies, he has directed a few theatrical plays and short films. With a short video film DOLCE VITA he has won the main prize at the Festival of non-professional film B&H. His diploma work, the short film PRVA PLATA (PAYCHECK) won the EFA/UIP Award at the 11. Sarajevo Film Festival and it was nominated for the European Film Academy Award (EFA). His documentary CARNIVAL was selected at IDFA 2006. in the “First Appearance” and the “Movies that Matter” competitions.
