Thursday is the collaborative work of Šejla Kamerić, visual artist from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Anocha Suwichakornpong, director from Thailand. This project was conceived as a form of dialogue between two artists. The shooting lasted for almost a year and consisted of four segments: Summer - Autumn, Year, Rain and Tour. All four segments are composed of seemingly unrelated scenes. Each scene is a visual experience that challenges the viewer to reflect on their own imagined/remembered narratives. What we remember are only fragments, perfect images of moments frozen in our memory. Maybe these fragments are real or maybe they are just a product of our imagination. There is no what was or what is to come. The moment is stopped, frozen – it becomes a fragment.
